Asian style sesame chicken recipe. Ingredients CHICKEN 3 chicken breast fillets chopped into chunks 2 eggs lightly beaten ½ cup corn flour ½ cup flour ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons paprika oil for frying SAUCE ¼ cup soy sauce ¼ cup rice vinegar ½ cup honey or brown sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Marinate with sesame oil light soy sauce garlic paste baking soda sugar and black pepper for 10-15 minutes. Gather all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Mix well and set aside for. Add the chicken into the batter stir to evenly coat with the batter. Heat 2 to 3 inches 5 to 75 cm of the oil in a wok or a stockpot to 350F 175C for deep-frying.
Gently drop the chicken into the oil and loosen them up immediately with a spatula to prevent the chicken from clumping together. Place chicken in a bowl and sprinkle baking soda all over the chicken. Toss the chicken with a spoon and place it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Take out the chicken and rinse it in a colander strainer making sure the baking soda. Warm the sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken and stir-fry until its lightly browned and cooked through.
Then turn the heat down to medium-low. Give the sauce a quick stir and add it to the skillet with the chicken. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the sauce evenly coats the chicken and is thickened.
